About the Author
As a life-long movie buff, Cathie Glenn Jennings started her love affair with movies in grade school with Saturday matinees. Her love of romantic comedy has helped her laugh and cry her way through her own relationship roller coaster rides. After an unfortunate starter marriage to a lawyer and musician, Cathie decided to skip the idea of wedded bliss all together. Rather, she turned into a serial monogamist – there was the Executive / Sailor, The Skiier and the Software Guru with the Sad Demise. In the eloquent words of Mae West “She used to be Snow White, but she drifted.”

That’s when Cathie’s quest started. Cathie Glenn Jennings is now a champion for comedy and relationship movies – she’s more than an ordinary movie fan. After Northwestern University, she focused her career on product launches and strategic marketing. Yet, her passion for movies was always in her life – leading her to teach seminars on using movies for team building and career coaching at corporations, colleges and career centers. A believer in lifelong learning and education, she also holds a certificate in Positive Psychology and the Movies. Cathie’s entire focus and background has been in using movies to help her audience through life transitions – changes big and small.

For more than 20 years, Cathie has shown others how to use movies to benefit their lives. Blending together her lifelong love affair of movies, along with practical corporate experience for some of the world’s most well-recognized brands, Cathie dreamed up a company that would do just that – help others to laugh and cry their way through their own rollercoaster rides. Cathie reaches audiences everyday via social media, YouTube, and her book as she recommends movies to make her readers laugh, cry, dance or sing in the rain. An obsessive list maker, Cathie especially loves Top 10 Lists. When she’s not recommending movies or writing reviews, she is working with corporations, colleges and organizations to provide an extraordinary touch on the ordinary training experience.

From the launch of her book, Movie Guide to Romantic Comedies: 100 Chick Flicks That Make You Laugh and Feel Happy Ever After, Cathie has actively sought to bring her love of movies to the masses.
