Jim Unger is a two-time recipient of the Best Syndicated Panel Award by the National Cartoonists Society. He is a former London bobby, repo man, bookkeeper, and graphic artist. He lives in Victoria, British Columbia.

Jim Unger's "Herman" is now and always has been the funniest cartoon I've ever seen. You will laugh until your sides split! We keep these books at my Dad's house and I read them whenever I'm there. These cartoons never lose their appeal and are classics in my family.
