Code Red: Editorial Cartoons by Ed Hall Paperback – October 1, 2003
by Ed Hall (Author)

Code Red! Code Red! We are under attack! Break out the plastic sheathing and duct tape! No, it’s not a biological terror attack – it’s the first book of political cartoons by Ed Hall. From anthrax scares to aircraft carrier landings, no story is too diverse or too extreme for this freelance, cartooning maverick. Chronicling the top stories of 2002 and 2003, Code Red is a thought provoking and humorous look at the circus that makes up American politics. Code Red shines a bright light on government with insightful images and fearless opinions. And no one is spared. John Ashcroft, Jeb and George Bush, Colin Powell, the French, Dick Cheney; they’re all in there. And don’t forget your favorite crazy dictator/evil-doer – from Kim Jong IL to Osama to Saddam, Ed’s sharp pen goes after them all. Hall considers himself an "attack" cartoonist, and if you’re in the way, watch out; because he hits with all the subtly of a sledge hammer.

Advance praise for Code Red – Editorial Cartoons by Ed Hall

"Ed Hall is one of the few American editorial cartoonists who still does his job. Rather than react to headlines, he sets an agenda. Rather than recycle tired old gags, he presents new ways of looking at the world. And, in a time when reasons to chuckle are few and far between, he delivers that guilty pleasure: laughing at our own misery."
